Layovers in Germany

Hello!

I'm typing this in Frankfurt, Germany waiting for my flight leaving at 10pm for Johannesburg. The flight from Calgary to here was AMAZING. I had a window seat and NO ONE beside me in either of the two seats so I was able to stretch out and relax and sleep a couple hours which usually doesn't happen for me. Upon arrival I was still really exhausted and this is a new airport for me. I was super overwhelmed when I landed. Just a shock to the system. Travelling alone isn't my favourite either. I was feeling really stressed and started having a little meltdown trying to get my bearings. I was hoping to go into the city and leave the airport but I decided I will try on the way home. My new shoes will be broken in, I'll know the airport, my carry-on won't be so heavy, etc. I'm doing a little better now, I slept a bit more because there aren't many people here in this section of the airport at the moment. It's pretty quiet and relaxed. I've been reading and journalling and my boyfriend Josh and I were able to Facetime a bit as he got ready for work. It was 3pm my time and 7am his time. My flight departs in 5 hours. So I just have to hold out a little longer. Believe it or not, I'm half way there! Prayer requests right now would be continued peace and that I wouldn't get panicked again and also that I would find some energy and feel rejuvenated. I only had one teeny tiny cup of coffee this morning so maybe that's my issue! haha. I might have to remedy that here soon.

   Blessings.
